The L.O.W
Down
Welcome to The L.O.W. (Life On Wheels) Down, my blog. A few years in the making.
My blog is a mixture of things that have happened over the last few years years, as well as current thoughts and events. I will also try to include practical tips that I have found helpful, as and when I think of them.
I've called my blog ]The L.O.W. Down, for various reasons, some of which may become clear over the coming weeks.
As many of us are spending so much of our time at home. I have decided to use the time positively and to publish and share my blog, rather than keeping it written down. I started recording notes on my ipad, as and when things happened or thoughts occurred. Giving myself an outlet for frustrations, in a way that wouldn't upset anyone else. It has helped me to reflect and see things more clearly, and validates my feelings.
Importantly my blog is to remind myself, my kids and others who have the same or other neurological conditions, that there is so much more to us all than our physical being. To try and remember how helpful humour can be, even when things are difficult.
Hereditary Sensory Neuropathy, C.M.T Type 2, does not define me completely, but undoubtedly has steered the course of life so far.
I hope my blog inspires those who read it, to discover new strengths, and use these strengths to overcome any difficulties. Anything ‘medically’ referred to in this blog, will be based on my experiences of living with C.M.T, and are not included as official medical facts. I can, however, refer anyone that asks to a few, far superior sources of information 😊
